Bringing home the bacon, er the balers

We are done with farming for the year ~ which means that it's time to start hauling straw. Here are the top 10 reasons that I'm glad the the balers are all back in my backyard.

#1. Nothing really looks cooler than 4 balers that are dirty because they made money.

#2. No more bonding-time with little boys while I'm trying to drive the baler.

#3. We can have dinner (occasionally) with Quin before 10:30pm

#4. It means that it's fall ... snow, cold, & Christmas is coming!!

#5. No more running parts up to Tetonia or Ashton

#6. Quin is still in my bed at 3:30 in the morning ~ at least till 4 or so :)

#7. Less laundry ~ the boys don't need 3 changes of clothes (work, play, and dirtier play)

#8. I might actually get a date for the 1st time in 4 months

#9. Halloween ~ I love holidays

#10. I SURVIVED OUR FIRST YEAR!!!

Summer has come to a close ~ I decided that I better get some pictures from the Tuckett Family Summer Adventures :) It was a great season ~ ton's of fun! Enjoy our memories!!! Can't wait to make some more!

Sam & Autumn - Engagement photo shoot

We went to Deer Lodge last weekend and got to take some fun pictures of Samuel & Autumn ... aren't they CUTE!!! :) We'll keep you updated on the reception plans!

Just a few updates ...

I thought that I better get some new pics up ... these are of Wyatt's 1st day of school ~ I added the one of my front porch during the summer to remind me that my dead flowers did look great earlier this year! (Dang frost anyway). The last picture is of all three boys riding 1 of Sam & Autumn's horses, Pink ... they LOVE going to Montana to visit!! Wyatt want to quit school and be a cowboy in Montana now ~ I told him that he could decide when he turned 25 (that gives me a few years to get used to the idea :)!!) Life is great!!!

Weddings, weddings, weddings...

So Benjamin J is getting married tomorrow (Sept. 29th). Emily was married this last April and is now expecting a little Payton-baby :) Samuel & Autumn are engaged and planning a wedding before the end of this year ~ I love that I'm getting so many more siblings!! After being the only married children for over 1/2 a decade and having the only grandbabies ... let's just say that I'm thinking it's about time! Here is a gorgeous engagement shot of Ben & Rach ... the boys are wearing WHITE tuxes tomorrow (they will be darling, but I'm packing multiple bleach pens). I think that I finally have the wedding video (I wish I knew how to put it online) done to Ben's specifications ... we'll see at the reception! Wish us ALL luck! Love to All ~ Especially those crazy cousins from Colorado :)!

I just wanted to add some more pictures from Em's wedding ... wanted to make sure that I had the ones from some of our favorite cousins ~ Ashley Mikell Egbert & Alexandria Jayne Egbert...what lovely, lovely girls they've turned into :).

So this week is the Phillip Egbert Reunion @ mom's ... we've had so much fun with Mitzi so far this week ... can't wait to spend more time with her and her fun family!!

Kunz Family Reunion

The Kunz Family Reuion will is going to be at Green Canyon on June 29th & 30th. Should be lots of FUN!!!! The highlight of the month will happen in about 2 weeks when Aunt Mitzi & Uncle Scott come from Wisconsin so that we can meet all of the new Mickelsen Cousins! Hooray!! :) Wyatt's big birthday is on the 18th of June. We are having "Wyatt's Round-Up". We are going to have pony rides and everyone gets to have a bandana to wear and take home. Should be awesome! If only Aunt Mindy could come ~ then Wyatt would have everything he wanted for his birthday!!!

Family Reunion

The 1st annual Phillip Egbert Reunion will be held the end of June. We are doing it at Steve & Monica's house in Sugar City ... we will be having a Hawaiian Luau :) Come for lots of fun & family!!! I'll add more info when I get the specifics.
